So many of you recommended Angela's Cafe that we decided to check out this Eastie spot for ourselves. We are so glad we did. Angela's Cafe is nestled on the corner of a residential neighborhood and is about as adorable and authentic a brunch place as they come. You feel like part of the family once inside the tiny, Mexican themed cafe. The walls are adorned with ceramic, trinkets, awards, and the face of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives host Guy Fieri, who visited Angela's in 2012. The menu is large and filled with Mexican and American brunch specials, but of course we went with Mexican brunch because when in Rome, right? The food is fresh and tasty but we were disappointed with the homefries for their lack of crispness or spice. The hot sauce however, damnnnn it's so good! The prices are also unbeatable, with nearly everything well under $10. If you're looking for an intimate, authentic Mexican brunch in a cute neighborhood, definitely head over to Angela's!
