Boston Chops is an upscale steakhouse located in the heart of the South End. Don’t let the word ‘steakhouse’ fool you though, the brunch menu is pretty bomb and definitely worth checking out. Brunch is only served on Sunday’s and this is a great spot for a family outing or if you want to feel classy AF. The menu is of medium size offering a variety of options such as eggs, sweet and savory. We love the complimentary sticky buns that are provided at the start of our meal; there is nothing better than starting off brunch with dessert first. We most definitely recommend trying the brisket, shank and tongue hash A.K.A. a fancier version of poutine (see nstagram post for picture). The fries are absolutely addicting, the meat is tender and it is topped with a perfectly poached egg. The lobster eggs benedict is pure heaven. The size of the lobster claws are ridiculously huge and you definitely aren’t getting jipped. However, the home fries are just good but not amazing; they are a little over seasoned for our taste. The menu prices are average with items ranging between $14-17 with the exception of the surf and turf dish. Not to mention, the service here is exceptional. Our server was very attentive and made sure we had an enjoyable experience.
