If you have never been to Bostonia Public House do us a favor and GO! They have great service, great food, live music, and the most extensive DIY Bloody Mary bar. What more could you ask for? Firstly, the Bloody Mary bar is spectacular. It is about 6 feet long with a wide variety of accouterments for you to add to your Bloody. They offer cheese, olives, cocktail shrimp, bacon wrapped in scallops and mini donuts to name a few. To utilize this bar it is $17 and you have the option to use any top-shelf vodka (or tequila) you prefer. The menu is of medium size with a lot of egg options, such as benedicts and frittatas, and two sweet options. We recommend starting with a few of their snacks. The Tater Tot poutine with brown gravy and melted cheese is out of this world. The gravy sauce is so good we could have smothered it all over our meals. If you really want to be mind-blown you MUST order the Sweet Potato Berkshire Bourbon Glazed Doughnuts; like holy fuck where have these been our entire lives?! It does not even taste like a sweet potato and that Bourbon glaze is heaven on earth. Pictured here is the Duck Confit Toast, Crab Hash and Short Rib Benedict. Everything is very flavorful and has a unique twist to it. The Duck Confit Toast is pretty amazing; we love the truffle mixed in with the scrambled egg and the parmesan cheese melted throughout. The Crab Hash has immense amounts of flavor from the chorizo and spices. Not to mention, the crab meat is very fresh! Last but not least, the Short Rib Benedict is delicious and the meat is very tender. However, our poached eggs were not poached. We were hoping for that runny yolk effect to add additional flavor. The prices are reasonable with everything ranging between $12-22 and the portion sizes are large. The service is great; our server Dave, was phenomenal 👌🏼.
