We spy with our little eye eggs on that plate. Who sees it? @crudoboston invited us to join them for the opening of their new all you can eat sushi BRUNCH and so of course we had to check it out. At first we were a bit confused how brunch and sushi relate, but upon being handed our first round of mimosas, things started to seem more clear. The menu consists of endless sushi, poke, shrimp and other traditional Japanese items plus scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon and of course, mimosas (which are $7 each). If you followed along with our IG story, you're familiar with the fact we enjoyed four rounds of plates like the ones featured here. So let's just say we take all-you-can-eat seriously. The food quality and taste is exactly what you'd expect from Crudo, high and mighty. The mix of sushi with traditional American breakfast is honestly a little weird at first but we got used to it real quick and even enjoyed mixing the foods (spotted shrimp sauce on eggs) 😉. They are aiming to turn the sushi brunch into a day party (or dage as we like to say) so starting at 2 they have a DJ and "bottle service" upstairs. Swankkkkky! The price is steep for brunch at $36 a person but let's not forget it's an all you can eat buffet, so make of it what you will. Overall we think sushi brunch is a totally bizarre but potentially genius concept and look forward to coming again.
