Love brunch? Stay up to date on Boston's best brunches and upcoming Brunches of Boston events.
We are loco for Loco! We thank @brunchismyfavorite for recommending this gem. We love the atmosphere here; it is full of energy at any given hour and filled with young professionals. The brunch at Loco is unreal. Here you can start your morning off with tequila and no one will judge you. We recommend trying the Coco margarita, the Britney or the Michael Bivins. If you are looking for a boozy brunch, then Loco is the place for you. The brunch menu is of medium size offering a variety of egg options with a Mexican flair. There are also tacos and sandwiches if you are not craving breakfast items. Not to mention the ceviche, raw bar and guacamole/salsa is always a good option. The Breakfast Tacos (pictured here) are too good to be true. The eggs are perfectly scrambled giving them a nice cheesy and fluffy texture. They are paired with carnitas that are super tender and flavorful. Lastly, they’re topped with salsa and a chile sauce that gives a bit of a kick in the best way. The enchiladas are amazing and have a unique twist from the traditional version. They are made with duck carnitas AND topped with a duck egg; say what!? We highly enjoyed every single bite. The table next to us ordered the brunch burger and holy shit - that can definitely cure a hangover. We wish we ordered ourselves one of those. The prices are extremely reasonable with everything ranging around $12. The portion sizes are pretty large so you will leave full extremely full, satisfied and perhaps slightly tipsy if you consume one too many drinks, which is not hard to do here! To beat the brunch rush, we recommend arriving around opening time. Without a doubt the restaurant will be jam packed within the hour.
